Along Heber Road

Along Heber Road is the story about Miguel, a Latino boy whose father has abused him verbally and physically for suspecting him gay. His mother, a lonely and sad woman, has been letting this happen because her husband, as well, has abused her. His only happy time is with his best friend Mauricio and his mother Aracely, who accept him for whom he is. But he still has to go through high school, and high school is not a place where he passes by unnoticed.
