Hardball

Tom Bruno, the star centre fielder for the Seaside Top Sox, returns for spring training smarting from an ugly divorce and furious to find he has been paired with young hot-dog rookie Tim Weare. However, it isn't long before Bruno discovers the advantages of rooming with a man in his sexual prime. When the rest of the Top Sox get in on the action, all this teamwork stands them in good stead as they approach postseason and a September classic showdown against their archrivals, whose hated pitcher has been sleeping with Bruno's ex-wife.
