Out of the Woods

Sixteen year old Kayla Winston was murdered at a friend's lake house. Ten years later, the identity of the killer remains unknown when new evidence is found to reopen the investigation. Kayla's group of friends, who haven't spoken in years, must come back together to assist in the investigation. Alicia Adams has done everything to forget the past including neglecting to tell her husband, Scott, about her friend's murder. Scott is upset she had not been open with him and becomes possessive of her when he learns of her high school friend, Jeremy. Alicia struggles with her renewed feelings for Jeremy and her new feelings of hatred towards her husband. Tensions arise throughout the group as Alicia and Kayla's boyfriend, Eric, receive threats from the killer, revealing secrets they had worked hard to forget. Alicia learns the past cannot always stay in the past and that history always repeats itself.
